Postpartum Overnight Support

( Birth-12wks )

Overnight doula support is a wonderful way to care for new parents and often begins as soon as you bring the baby home from the hospital. Many families hire a doula for 2-3 nights per week during the first four weeks, and slowly taper down to 1-2 nights per week, up to twelve weeks. The main task of the overnight shift is to care for your baby all night so you can sleep. Whether you're breastfeeding or bottle feeding, we come up with a plan each night so you can get the most rest while I’m caring for your little one.

Support Includes:

  • Assessing the needs of your family

  • Providing recommendations and referrals

  • Baby laundry to light housework

  • Sibling education and transition

  • Care of older siblings

  • Meal preparation

  • Encouragement and positive affirmations

  • Newborn education and care

  • Breastfeeding counseling

  • Postpartum recovery care guidance

  • Establishing routines

  • Organizing the nursery

$50 per hour (8hr. Min between 8pm-7am)
